Every July we have our Vacation Bible School (VBS) with classes for all ages: Pre-school, Elementary, Youth, & Adults! We begin with LOTS of singing & dancing. Then we break into groups: Children are placed in crews and travel around with their crew leaders to Chadder's Theater, crafts, games, snack, and storytime , while pre-schoolers, youth, & adults have a separate routine.
In addition to learning about God while having a ton of fun, we sponsor 3 missions projects during the week: school supplies to a local elementary school, a boy vs girls offering for Children & Family Services, as well as an International "Operation Kid-to-Kid" Project. Past kid projects have included blankets, prayer bears and soccer balls.
Some of our past VBS themes have been: Crocodile Dock, PowerLab, Avalanche Ranch, Fiesta!, Serengeti Trek, and Lava Lava Island.
